Avianca launched new flight between Chicago and El Salvador

In order to offer Chicago travelers more and improved connectivity options, while taking advantage of Avianca’s global route network, the airline opened yesterday its direct flight between Chicago O´Hare International Airport and its Hub in El Salvador. Four weekly flights will be offered operated on an Airbus A319 aircraft with capacity of 120 passengers, 12 in business class and 108 in coach cabin.

As part of the celebrations of the new Avianca flight to the city of Chicago, the employees did a fashion show with the new uniforms, which will soon use the passenger service agents at Chicago’s O’Hare airport.

The opening ceremony of the new flight Chicago-El Salvador, was attended by the Consul of El Salvador, Patricia Maza-Pittsford, besides the presence of some airline executives.

This new flight will provide Chicago passengers with an effective connection through the flight bank departing from El Salvador to different cities in Central and South America, such as: Belize City, Belize; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula in Honduras; Managua, Nicaragua; San Jose, Costa Rica; Panama; Cali, Medellin, and Bogota in Colombia; Lima, Peru; along with Guayaquil and Quito in Ecuador.

In the same way, passengers coming from the already mentioned destinations will gain access to the city of Chicago through the airline´s Hub in El Salvador.
