Avianca launched services to Newark

Newark becomes the new destination to be added by Avianca to its route network. The flight will operate four times a week starting November 8, and becomes a daily option on December 1st. Passengers will be able to connect towards many more Latin American cities: Guatemala, Managua, Panama, San Pedro Sura, San Jose, Bogota, Cali, Medellin, Lima, Guayaquil, and Quito. This new flight increases more options for travel, and increased connectivity and schedules.

This flight will provide a convenient flight option for travelers from Newark in New Jersey, as well as neighboring states like Connecticut, Delaware, New York, and Pennsylvania. We are confident that business travelers, as well as the Central and South American communities in New Jersey visiting friends and relatives in Latin America will greatly benefit with this flight,” said Estuardo Ortiz, COO Avianca. “Newark is the eleventh destination served by the airline in the United States.”

In addition to Newark, Avianca flies to other cities in the United States: Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Nueva York, Orlando, Washington D.C., Chicago, Los Ángeles, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco.

The flight is served on board modern Airbus 319 aircraft with capacity for 120 passengers: 12 in business class and 108 in tourist.
