July 23, 2014, Moscow – Considering the increasing tension in maintaining civil aircraft flight safety arising from the ongoing military conflicts around the world, Transaero Airlines finds it necessary to support the proposal of Tim Clark, President of Emirates, to call for a special international conference of air carriers.

Such a conference could be held under the International Air Transport Association (IATA). It’s objective should be to work out pragmatic steps undertaken both by domestic aviation authorities, and by interstate bodies to maintain flight safety, minimize all risks, including financial ones, as for air carriers so for their passengers.

Transaero Airlines is a member of IATA and is ready to take an active part in the work of the conference.
