To London with LOT Dreamliner

Warsaw, 18 September 2014 – A spacious cabin, larger windows, unrivalled comfort and great on-board entertainment. A Dreamliner flight is pure air pleasure! Starting today until the end of October, LOT Dreamliners – so far mostly known to passengers travelling to the USA, Canada and China – fly from Warsaw to London on Thursdays and Fridays.

In order to experience the advantages of a Dreamliner, you need to get on board and fly! The possibility to see what it is like to travel with the state-of-the-art passenger plane will be now available to those travelling with LOT to the capital of the United Kingdom.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner will operate Warsaw – London – Warsaw afternoon flights LO 279 and LO 280 on selected Thursdays and Fridays until 24 October. Passengers will be able to choose from three travel classes: LOT Business Class, LOT Premium Class and LOT Economy Class. Round-trip prices to London start from PLN 499 at lot.com.

“London is one of the top business destinations operated by LOT. We are glad that passengers travelling with us will have a chance to experience a Dreamliner flight. The offer is appealing not only to those going directly from Warsaw to London, but also to transfer passengers. Our network is designed so that the connection can also be used by people travelling through the Warsaw hub from other Polish and European cities. It is also convenient to passengers flying from and to Beijing who can swiftly transfer from one Dreamliner onto another” – says David Garcia, Chief Commercial Officer, LOT Polish Airlines.

On a daily basis, LOT Dreamliners operate long-haul flights – to New York, Toronto, Chicago and Beijing. LOT fleet includes six Dreamliners, and two more will join LOT in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

LOT offers three convenient flights a day from Warsaw to London Heathrow: LO281 departing at 7:50 am, LO279 at 3:10 pm and LO285 at 8:00 pm; from London to Warsaw: LO286 at 6:35 am, LO282 at 10:25 am and LO280 at 5:50 pm. The departure and arrival times are organised so that passengers can easily change to other European and intercontinental LOT flights.

This year, LOT Polish Airlines will also move their operations to a new, state-of-the-art Heathrow terminal T2, referred to as “The Queen’s Terminal”, purpose-built for the Star Alliance members. It will also significantly improve travel comfort.
