Transaero Airlines to launch Moscow-Murmansk service; resume flights to Eilat

Moscow, October 01, 2014 – Transaero Airlines will launch scheduled flights between Moscow and Murmansk for the first time from October 10, 2014.

Flight UN175/176 will operate from Moscow Domodedovo Airport three times per week to the following timetable (local time):

· Departure from Moscow on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 22.45, arrival in Murmansk at 01.25 on the next day.
· Departure from Murmansk on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at 08.00, arrival in Moscow at 10.35.

From October 26, the flight frequency on this route will increase to five times per week adding services from Moscow on Tuesdays and Saturdays and from Murmansk on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The new flights to Murmansk will be operated by a Boeing 737 aircraft with Discount Class.

The new flights between Moscow and Murmansk show the continued development of Transaero Airlines’ domestic route network. Passengers flying from Murmansk to Moscow will be able to take advantage of the full breadth of this network, covering more than 200 domestic and international routes, to continue their travel.

In addition, Transaero Airlines will resume flights on the Moscow-Eilat (Ovda airport) route on October 19, 2014.

Flight UN3301/3302 will operate from Moscow Domodedovo airport twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays to the following schedule (local time):

· Departure from Moscow at 10.40, arrival in Eilat at 14.15.
· Departure from Eilat at 15.15, arrival in Moscow at 20.40.

Flights to Eilat will operate with Discount Class on Boeing 737.

These developments mark the expansion of Transaero’s Discount Class offering. The airline carried 1.4 million passengers in Discount Class from its launch mid-January to mid-September 2014, demonstrating the popularity of the service.
