TOKYO October 17, 2014: Japan Airlines (JAL) and American Airlines (AA) have agreed to further expand their codeshare cooperation starting October 26, 2014, resulting in an increase in the number of JAL codeshare flights available on the U.S. = Brazil routes operated by AA.

In addition to JAL’s code share flights (operated by AA) to Brazil via New York and Dallas Fort Worth, the airline decided to add new codeshare flights on Los Angeles = San Paulo route into its network between Japan and Brazil, to provide customers with improved convenience and benefits.

JAL and AA, being the partners on their joint business of trans-Pacific services, will continue to strengthen their partnership to enhance customers’ convenience and embrace the new challenges to become the most preferred airline in the world.
