Ethiopian to Start Flights to Goma

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest airline in Africa, is pleased to announce the commencement of flights to Goma, the Democratic Republic of Congo as of July 10, 2015.

Ethiopian flights to Goma will be operated three times a week via Entebbe using the latest B737-800 New Generation with Sky Interior. Goma will be Ethiopian 3rd destination in the Democratic Republic Congo (DRC), in addition to Kinshasa and Lubumbashi. Ethiopian also flies to Brazzaville and Point Noir in the Republic of Congo. Goma flights will be operated as per the following schedule.

With the new service, passengers to and from Goma will find convenient and hassle free connections to global destinations in Ethiopian system wide network to points in Europe, Middle East, Asia and the Americas.

Ethiopian will be the first airline to start scheduled flight to Goma, which will become the airline’s 52nd African and 91st international destination.

Ethiopian has been recognized as the ‘Best Regional Airline in the World’ by Air Transport World (ATW) at the 41st annual Air Transport World Airline Industry Achievement Award ceremony held in Washington D.C. on 25 February 2015.
