Ethiopian to Start Flights to Goma

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest airline in Africa, is pleased to announce the commencement of direct flights to Goma, the Democratic Republic of Congo as of July 10, 2015.

Ethiopian flights to Goma will be operated three times a week using Q-400 Bombardier aircraft. The flights to Goma will be Ethiopian 3rd destination in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in addition to Kinshasa and Lubumbashi, and will be operated as per the following schedule.

With the new service, passengers to and from Goma will find convenient and hassle free connection to destinations in Ethiopian wide route network such as Mumbai, Dubai, Delhi, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Peking.

Ethiopian will be the first airline to start scheduled flight to Goma, which will become the airline’s 52nd African and 91st international destination.

Ethiopian has been recognized as the ‘Best Regional Airline in the World’ by Air Transport World (ATW) at the 41st annual Air Transport World Airline Industry Achievement Award ceremony held in Washington D.C. on 25 February 2015 and has also won for the fifth year in a row the 2015 Airline Reliability Performance Award from Bombardier Aerospace on May 26 at the Sheraton Arabellapark Hotel in Munich, Germany.
