The rating agency states: “Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services today raised its overall ranking on ORIX Aviation Systems Ltd. (OAS) as a commercial aircraft lease servicer to STRONG”, the highest ranking in its five-point scale.

Standard and Poor’s stated that “The STRONG ranking for primary servicing reflects our assessment of OAS’ stable management and organization and its capabilities in lease administration” and cited ORIX Aviation’s “many years of successful management, reliable IT systems, and good internal controls” and “its robust lease administration procedures” in making its decision to upgrade the company’s ranking.

“OAS delivers on all aspects of aircraft transactions, including sales, remarketing, contract negotiation, and structuring, financials, and administration. “The company has an experienced and stable senior management team” and “an established and experienced workforce” adds Standard & Poor’s.
