INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ/NM: RJET) today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for August 2015.

The Company generated nearly 974 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in August, down about 6 percent compared to the same period in 2014, with a 7 percent reduction in available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours declined 8 percent to about 62,000, and the load factor increased 1 percentage point compared to the same period last year. Republic Airways carried more than 2 million passengers during the month, a decrease of 2 percent compared to August 2014.
