Emirates has appointed Thani Abdulla Al Ansari as a country manager for Zambia this month.

Al Ansari’s role will involve responsibility for business operations in Zambia, overseeing sales and service functions for passenger, cargo and airport operations.

Placed in the carrier’s commercial operations for six years, Al Ansari is moving to this role having previously been country manager in Uganda.

“I am pleased to manage Emirates’ operations in Zambia and look forward to leading the Emirates team and building strong relationships with our stakeholders in Zambia. I will draw on my previous experience to ensure that I meet and exceed the demands of this diverse and dynamic market,” said Al Ansari.

Al Ansari has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the US and experience of the international aviation market.
