Air India connects 8th European destination- Vienna

National carrier Air India will connect Delhi to Vienna, the capital of Austria with a non-stop flight from April 6, 2016. This non-stop service will operate thrice a week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with a B787 aircraft. Air India with code share arrangements with Austrian Airlines will replace existing 5 weekly service to Vienna and will offer connecting to more than 25 European destinations. This service will provide connectivity to all corners of India and to International destinations like Bangkok, Kathmandu, Colombo and other destinations connected ex Delhi.

The Delhi-Vienna-Delhi flight will have a convenient departure at 1400hrs from Delhi and arrival at Vienna at 1845hrs (LT). The return flight will have a night departure from Vienna at 2245hrs (LT) and arrive in Delhi at 0925hrs (+1). The state of the art B787 aircraft offers world class facilities to passengers, with 18 seats in Business Class and 238 seats in Economy Class.

Currently on the Europe Network, Air India presently connects 7 European destinations in 5 countries which include UK-London & Birmingham; Germany-Frankfurt; France-Paris; Italy- Rome & Milan and Russia- Moscow.
