Fitch Ratings-New York-12 May 2016: Fitch Ratings has published an updated criteria report for rating Aircraft Enhanced Equipment Trust Certificates. The criteria report, ‘Rating Aircraft Enhanced Equipment Trust Certificates’ is available on Fitch’s web site at www.fitchratings.com or by clicking on the link.

The report revises elements of Fitch’s senior tranche rating methodology, including raising the maximum rating possible in certain cases to the ‘AA’ category. The criteria report describes the collateral value stresses that senior tranches are expected to withstand, along with various qualitative factors that transactions are expected to feature in order to achieve ratings in the ‘AA’ category.

The report also includes an updated aircraft tier chart in the appendix section. Publication of this report does not impact any existing ratings.
