Wizz Air Announces Two New Routes From Tuzla To Billund And Berlin

Tuzla, 19 July 2016: Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced two new routes from Tuzla to Billund and Berlin Schoenefeld commencing on 31 October and 17 December with 2 weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays, and Tuesdays and Saturdays respectively. Billund is the home of the Lego Group and it is also known for its theme park, Legoland. The city is a popular destination for tourists, especially families with children. Since 2009 the town is also the home of Lalandia Billund, a waterpark and activity center. A number of other attractions like the Givskud Zoo and Kongernes Jelling – the home of the viking kings can be found in the area.

With its vibrant cultural, political, media and science life, Berlin is one of the most popular destinations among tourists. The city is well known for its festivals, diverse architecture, nightlife and contemporary arts, providing a wide choice of cultural programs. Around one-third of the city’s area is composed of parks, gardens and lakes, which makes it a perfect choice for travelers who like sightseeing while being surrounded by the nature at the same time. The town is also a business hub for high-tech, engineering, pharmaceutical and electronics companies providing an ideal destination for business travelers.

The first WIZZ flight from Tuzla took off in 2013. Underlining the company’s commitment to the country, in June 2015 Tuzla became Wizz Air’s 19th base creating a number of local jobs and turning into the 11th country where the airline established base operations.
