Geneva, 3 August 2016: Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for July 2016.

In July 2016, Wizz Air continued to expand its customer offering and strengthen its network with the following announcements:
- Launching nine new routes to/from Romania (x2), Bosnia and Herzegovina (x2), Ukraine (x2), Lithuania (x1), Macedonia (x1), Poland (x1), and opening of the sixth Romanian base in Iasi with one A320 aircraft.
- Fleet increased to 71 aircraft with the delivery of a brand new A321ceo aircraft
- Receiving Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration from the International Air Transport Association (IATA)
- Signed $2.5 billion contract with Pratt & Whitney to supply next generation engines for our future A321 neo aircraft
