London-Bogota On The New Avianca Boeing 787s

London, September 15, 2016. As of next September 18, Avianca will operate its London-Bogota route on the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The inclusion of these modern aircraft for passenger service on transatlantic routes is part of the Airline’s commitment to offer a new travel experience. With a 250-person capacity, 28 in Business Class and 222 in Economy Class, the Dreamliner is characterized by its modern design that offers maximum comfort. Broader seats, larger windows, wider aisles and more spacious restrooms are some of its attributes. Other details such as specific lighting for each moment of the flight or an innovative pressurizing system that reduces dehydration and jetlag, equally contribute to improve the flying experience.

On Business Class, all seats have direct access to the aisle and turn into a bed thanks to a 180˚ total reclining, which guarantees a better rest and privacy. Travelers in this cabin also enjoy of a social area with availability of snacks, fruits and beverages.

The onboard entertainment system has larger individual screens, offers a complete variety of movies, series, music, games and applications to visualize the onboard shopping catalog, the food menu or chat between seats.

Greater cargo availability. With the new B787 entering into operation on the London – Bogota route, and thanks to its greater operational efficiency, the airline considerably increases its cargo capacity and facilitates a higher commercial exchange from England with Bogota, Santiago de Chile, Asuncion, Lima, Quito, Mexico or Buenos Aires as destinations.

How to arrive? On the new London –Bogota route, Avianca operates a daily direct flight and offers more than 3,500 weekly seats. This route is a wonderful option to travel to Latin America from the United Kingdom. Through the Bogota Hub it allows connecting with 25 destinations in Colombia and the main cities in Latin America, such as Lima, Cuzco, Quito, Guayaquil, Santiago de Chile, Mexico, Panama or Havana, among others.
