Inspection Technologies launches at MRO Asia 2016

Singapore, 29th September: Launching at this week’s MRO Asia in Singapore, Inspection Technologies is committed to providing quality specialist tooling, equipment and hands-on support for aircraft wheels and brakes. The ISO 9001 approved Company offers a suite of products and services which allow MROs to establish, expand or optimise aircraft wheel and brake repair and overhaul facilities.

Inspection Technologies was created to meet the needs of airline MROs seeking the resources necessary to be able to offer the best quality wheel and brake services. Founder Phillip Randell explains: “In order to carry out quality and efficient aircraft wheel and brake repair and overhaul, access to the correct specialist tooling, equipment and expert guidance regarding shop layout, process management, staff training and regulatory approvals is vital.”

Sited adjacent to Sister Company World Aero, the UK-based aircraft wheel and brake specialists located close to London, Inspection Technologies provides a one stop shop, working with customers to deliver a bespoke package tailored to their individual wheel and brake workshop requirements.

Inspection Technologies is able to supply a wide range of specialist tooling equipped for aviation industry compliance; products from a simple bearing cup removal tool to an elaborate brake assembly fixture are all conceived, designed, manufactured and tested to meet OEM requirements by Inspection Technologies’ specialist team. The Company’s established range of special-to-type aircraft wheel and brake tooling enables service of a wide variety of products including UTAS (Goodrich), Honeywell, Meggitt, and Messier-Bugatti-Dowty.

Customers can also take advantage of Inspection Technologies expertise in helping choose the optimum specialist equipment to service commercial aircraft wheels and brakes, with a range of products in stock to service large, heavy commercial aircraft such as tyre bead breakers and hydraulic test stands, to precision servicing and inspection equipment such as bespoke ultrasonic NDT inspection kits. Should existing equipment fail, Inspection Technologies is also able to provide critical equipment on a short-term lease basis from their in-house stock in order to minimise workshop disruption.

At the launch of the Company at Aviation Week’s MRO Asia trade show, Philip Randell said: “From our years of experience providing wheel and brake repair, overhaul, sales, and exchange at World Aero working with operators from around the globe, we recognised that the set up of a quality, efficient wheel and brake repair and overhaul facility requires specialist expertise. We are uniquely positioned to provide a highly specialised suite of products and services which will allow facilities to optimise their efficiency and be the best that they can be.”
