Wizz Air Holdings: Senior Management Update

Geneva, 13 December 2016: Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”, the “Company” and, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces that, following a change in personal circumstances, its Chief Financial Officer, Sonia Jerez Burdeus, has today submitted her resignation in order to relocate back to Spain where she will take up another job. She will remain with the Company for her full notice period to 13 March 2017, overseeing the Company’s interim management statement for the third quarter of the current financial year. The Company has started the process of recruiting a new Chief Financial Officer for the Group and will make a further announcement in due course.

Sonia Jerez Burdeus commented: “I am sad to be leaving Wizz Air as, during my time here, I have enjoyed being part of a strong, successful company and dynamic team. It is for personal reasons that I have decided to move back to my native Spain and, in the course of managing those issues, an opportunity developed which allows me to do so.”

Jozsef VĂ¡radi, the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We are obviously disappointed to see Sonia Jerez leave the Company but understand that personal considerations can take precedence over professional life. We thank Sonia for her contribution and wish her well.”
