The Company carried 200 thousand passengers on international flights in February. The number of passengers was up by 11% as compared to February last year. The capacity increase between years was 18%. The passenger load factor was 75.9% compared to 79.0% at the same time last year. Passengers on domestic and regional flights were just short of 23 thousand, which is 2% increase from last year. The capacity was 29% higher than in February 2016, due to flights to Aberdeen in cooperation with Icelandair, which started in March 2016. The load factor was 68.2%. Sold block hours in charter flights decreased by 7% between years. Cargo transport decreased by 13% year-on-year. Strike in the seafood industry in Iceland effects the export of fish negatively. The room utilisation at the Company’s Hotels increased between years, was 85.6% compared to 84.0% in February 2016.
