Skyworld Aviation is pleased to announce the sale of two EASA ERJ 145 LR’s, serial numbers 145564 (G-CIYW) and 145601 (G-CIYX). The previous operator was AeroMexico Connect and both aircraft returned from lease to its European owner last year. The aircraft have since been in a storage programme with GC Aviation Maintenance Ltd (GCAM) at Cotswold Airport in the UK, who recently obtained Part 145 approval for the type. GCAM brought both aircraft out of storage for return to service.

G-CIYX left Cotswold Airport on Friday 3rd March, bound for its new life with a global aviation services company. The second aircraft, G-CIYW, was purchased by Nilin Group – an EASA Part M maintenance provider based in Turkey. The aircraft ferried to Ljubljana, Slovenia on 22nd March where it has since been under a temporary storage programme prior to going into service.
