Air India operations return to normal 100% normal operations by Monday

Consequent to the withdrawal of the strike by the pilots, Air India has already initiated action necessary for the restoration of normal operations on its domestic sectors and flights to the neighbouring countries, which were affected in the last 10 days.

Air India will be restoring over 50% of all flights in the domestic network on Sunday, May 8, 2011 and expects FULL NORMAL OPERATIONS (100%) by Monday, May 9, 2011. The number of flights may change, but the number of seats offered would be the same as before. The details of all scheduled flights from May 8, 2011, will be available on the Air India website. The restoration of flights has been worked out in such a manner that metros and tier-II cities are fully connected effective Sunday itself.

Air India sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused to its passengers during the disruption. Air India would also like to thank all its customers who had supported us during this period and look forward to their continued support and patronage.
