AVIANCA AND TACA TRANSPORT MORE THAN 15 MILLION PASSENGERS IN THE FIRST NINE MONTHS OF 2011

September: During September 2011, Avianca, Taca and their subsidiaries transported 1,734,541 passengers on their national and international route network, representing a 21.3% increase on the comparable period of 2010 when they transported 1,429,892 people. Occupancy rates for the month stood at 76.5%.

January-September: During this period, the airlines transported a combined total of 15,244,635 passengers on national and international routes, an increase of 19.1% compared to the number transported in the same period last year. ASK capacity* grew by 15.7% with occupancy rates at 77.6%.

Domestic Markets
September: In domestic markets (routes within Colombia, Peru and Ecuador), the figures for the month of September reported an increase of 30.5% in passenger numbers compared to the same period of 2010. In September 2011, 977,582 people were transported on these internal networks, while 749,160 passengers flew in the same month of 2010.

During this period ASK capacity* grew by 37%, with occupancy rates in these markets rising to 72%.

January-September: In the first nine months of 2011, Avianca, Taca and its group companies reported a 24.1% increase in passenger numbers on routes within Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, totaling 8,188,036 travelers. 6,595,738 people were transported in these local markets during the same January-September 2010 period.

International Market
In September, the number of passengers transported on international routes rose to 756,959 people, representing an increase of 11.2% compared to the same month in 2010, when the figure was 680,732 passengers. Occupancy rates rose to 77.6% and ASK capacity* registered a 8.3% increase.

January-September: During the first nine months of 2011, AviancaTaca Holding S.A. airlines flew a total of 7,056,599 passengers on its international routes, which represents an increase of 13.7% on the same year-on-year period, when it carried 6,208,769 passengers. ASK capacity* increased by 13.3%. The occupancy rate was 78.1%.
