The new aircraft represents an investment of further $ 99 million** by WIZZ in Serbia, and will create 36 additional direct jobs with Wizz Air in Belgrade. The new routes, long-awaited by Serbian travellers, to Friedrichshafen, Nuremberg, Hanover and Malta will each be operated withtwo weekly frequencies. Along with the new connections, WIZZ is increasing the weekly frequencies to some of the most popular destinations from Belgrade and offering more opportunities to its customers to travel to Malmo (5 flights/week), Dortmund and Eindhoven (4 flights/ week), Gothenburg, Munich Memmingen and Stockholm Skavsta (3 flights/week).

Since the beginning of 2017, almost 190,000 Serbian passengers have enjoyed WIZZ low-fare services, representing a traffic growth of 27% year on year.
