Embraer and Mubadala Investment Company have signed a strategic framework agreement to expand aerospace collaboration in the United Arab Emirates, covering manufacturing, maintenance, workforce development and research.
Signed at the Farnborough International Airshow, the long-term partnership supports the UAE’s industrial development strategy while strengthening Embraer’s supply chain and regional presence. The agreement creates a pathway for Strata Manufacturing to become a tier-one supplier for Embraer aircraft programs and opens opportunities for Sanad to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for Embraer operators across the Gulf and surrounding markets.
The collaboration also includes joint initiatives to develop engineering talent in the UAE through training, knowledge transfer and placements at Embraer facilities, alongside research into next-generation aerostructures, advanced materials, additive manufacturing and composite technologies.
The agreement aligns with the UAE’s broader strategy to expand its aerospace industry and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for advanced manufacturing and aviation.
