AFG Aviation Ireland acquired two CF6-80E1A4/B engines from GEAM

On 24 September 2025, AFG Aviation Ireland (AFG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany, successfully acquired two (2) General Electric CF6-80E1A4/B engines from GE Aviation Materials (GEAM), a subsidiary of GE Aerospace.

Following the purchase on September 24, 2025, the engines were delivered to AFG’s valued customer, SAMI Airbus for Aircraft and Maintenance Services.

The transaction was completed after both engines underwent a full performance restoration shop visit at GE Evergreen Engine Services (GEEVES) in Taiwan, ensuring they meet the highest operational standards.
