ANA Holdings Orders Eight Additional Embraer E190-E2 Aircraft

ANA Holdings has approved the purchase of eight additional Embraer E190-E2 regional jets, expanding its fleet as it strengthens its ACMI agreement supporting ANA domestic operations.

The latest order follows ANA Holdings’ February 2025 commitment for 20 E190-E2 aircraft, comprising 15 firm orders and five options. The new order brings the airline group’s total firm commitments for the type to 23 aircraft.

Configured in the 100-seat category, the E190-E2 offers improved fuel efficiency, lower noise emissions and reduced operating costs through its latest-generation engines and technologies. ANA said the aircraft will provide greater flexibility in matching capacity with demand across its domestic network while supporting long-term fleet modernization.

ANA Holdings said the additional aircraft will help expand its sustainable regional aviation network in Japan by enhancing regional connectivity and supporting future domestic operations under its ACMI arrangement.
