AnimaWings Enters Judicial Reorganization as Fleet Issues Pressure Operations

AnimaWings has initiated a judicial reorganization process as the Romanian airline seeks to stabilize its finances and maintain operations amid recurring aircraft technical issues and rising costs.

The carrier said repeated technical problems have reduced fleet availability, affecting its operational capacity as well as its commercial and financial performance. Broader economic pressures and higher operating costs have added to the airline’s difficulties.

AnimaWings is continuing to operate flights during the reorganization process and has not announced a suspension of services.

The airline expects to adjust its schedule over the coming days to reflect available aircraft capacity. It said it intends to operate as many scheduled flights as possible while limiting disruption to passengers.

AnimaWings described the court-supervised restructuring as a measure intended to protect business continuity while it works to stabilize operations.
