Aviation Inventory Resources, Inc. announced today it has acquired 19 Saab 340B aircraft along with a major spares inventory from Envoy Air Inc.

The package represents the largest ever single aftermarket aircraft/spares transaction for the Saab 340. The spares inventory of more than 11,000 line items will be relocated to AIR’s main facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. AIR will disposition the aircraft on a scheduled basis.

The acquisition cements AIR’s position as the world’s largest aftermarket Saab inventory support organization and allows AIR to expand its popular AIRcare managed inventory program, which offers operators of the Saab 340 affordable and reliable parts support. AIRcare is available in flat rate exchange, “plus cost” exchange, and per flight hour versions.
