BOC Aviation Places Order for Up to 300 CFM LEAP Engines

BOC Aviation has finalized an order with CFM International for up to 300 LEAP engines, comprising 200 LEAP-1A engines for Airbus A320neo family aircraft and 100 LEAP-1B engines for Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

The order, announced at the Farnborough International Airshow, represents the largest engine purchase in BOC Aviation’s history and will support aircraft already on order by the Singapore-based lessor. CFM engines have been part of BOC Aviation’s fleet since 1998, with more than 240 aircraft in its portfolio currently powered by LEAP-1A engines.

The companies said the agreement supports BOC Aviation’s long-term fleet growth strategy while expanding its portfolio of fuel-efficient, lower-emission aircraft. CFM has delivered more than 10,000 LEAP engines worldwide and continues to introduce durability and maintenance enhancements across the engine family.
