Breeze Airways and AIP Capital have closed a $228 million secured debt facility to finance the acquisition of six new Airbus A220-300 aircraft from Airbus.
The financing was arranged through AIP Capital’s Private Credit strategy and represents the second financing transaction between the aviation-focused investment manager and the US carrier.
The facility will support Breeze Airways’ ongoing fleet expansion as the airline introduces additional A220-300 aircraft to serve its growing domestic and international route network.
Breeze continues to expand services connecting underserved and unserved markets, with the A220-300 forming a central part of its fleet development and network growth strategy.
AIP Capital’s Private Credit business provides financing solutions secured by aircraft and other assets, supporting airline customers through structured debt arrangements and asset-backed lending.
The companies did not disclose the financing tenor, interest rate, aircraft delivery schedule or individual aircraft serial numbers.
