Cebu Pacific and Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing low-cost airline, flyadeal, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore joint commercial initiatives, including maintenance and engineering support.
As part of the agreement, flyadeal will wet-lease two of Cebu Pacific’s A320 aircraft for its summer peak season. Reciprocally, Cebu Pacific is examining wet-leasing flyadeal A320s during the busy winter period in Southeast Asia at the end of the year.
The MoU was signed in Manila by flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway and CEB CEO Mike Szücs Szucs, marking the start of a strategic partnership between the two airlines. This collaboration also supports flyadeal’s future A330 long-haul operations set to launch in 2027.
