August 5, 2025 – Fort Lauderdale, Florida – GA Telesis, LLC (“GAT”), the pioneering leader in integrated aviation services, has closed its first Japanese Operating Lease with Call Option (“JOLCO”) transaction, marking a significant milestone in GA Telesis’ growth and capital strategy.
The transaction involved the lease of an IAE V2500 Engine to a major US Airline, supported by a Japanese equity investor with Tokyo Century Corporation acting as arranger. This milestone for GA Telesis’ LIFT (Leasing, Investment, Finance & Trading) Division marks a step forward in GAT’s ability to deploy diverse financing structures across its portfolio.
“We are very excited to access the JOLCO market and expand our capital strategies with this transaction,” said Marc Cho, President of GA Telesis LIFT Group. “We are incredibly grateful to the Tokyo Century team for their support in this successful execution,” he added.
JOLCOs continue to be a preferred structure for airlines and lessors alike, offering favorable economic and strategic optionality. This inaugural transaction demonstrates GAT’s ability to partner with leading institutions and structure transactions that align with the objectives of both investors and operators.
