Jackson Square Aviation Selects Pratt & Whitney GTF Engines for Airbus A320neo Aircraft

Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) has selected Pratt & Whitney’s GTF engines to power an undisclosed number of Airbus A320neo family aircraft, further expanding its portfolio of next-generation narrowbody aircraft.

The agreement strengthens the long-standing relationship between the global aircraft lessor and Pratt & Whitney. JSA currently has 91 GTF-powered A320neo family aircraft and 11 V2500-powered A320ceo aircraft in its portfolio.

The Pratt & Whitney GTF engine delivers approximately 20% lower fuel consumption and a 75% smaller noise footprint than previous-generation engines, supporting airlines’ efforts to reduce operating costs and emissions. More than 2,800 GTF-powered aircraft are currently in service worldwide, with an order backlog exceeding 8,000 engines.

The latest engine selection supports Jackson Square Aviation’s strategy of providing airline customers with fuel-efficient aircraft while continuing to expand its global leasing portfolio.
