JetZero has signed a Letter of Interest with the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) to explore up to US$3 billion in financing for its planned advanced aerospace manufacturing campus in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Signed at the Farnborough International Airshow under EXIM’s Make More in America Initiative, the agreement establishes a framework to evaluate financing for manufacturing facilities, production systems, equipment and other eligible project costs. Any future financing remains subject to EXIM’s underwriting, environmental review and board approval processes.
JetZero broke ground on its Greensboro “Factory One” facility in June and expects the campus to create more than 14,500 direct manufacturing jobs and an estimated 53,000 indirect jobs across the United States. The company said the project will expand domestic aerospace manufacturing capacity, strengthen supply chains and support future exports of U.S.-manufactured aerospace products.
The Letter of Interest is non-binding and does not represent a financing commitment from EXIM.
