Kazakhstan prepares to launch a new cargo carrier

Kazakhstan is on track for a launch a new national cargo airline in early 2026, as confirmed by the press service of the Kazakh Prime Minister, referencing details from the Samruk-Kazyna wealth fund.

Nurlan Zhakupov, CEO of the fund, informed Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov that the new cargo carrier will initially lease three aircraft, with plans to grow its fleet to a total of 10 planes.

To ensure profitability, the airline will have a reliable supply of fuel guaranteed. The Prime Minister has instructed to expedite all necessary preparations for the timely launch of the airline.
