Macquarie AirFinance announces a six aircraft SLB transaction with Volaris

Macquarie AirFinance announces a six aircraft transaction with Volaris, Mexico’s leading ultra low-cost carrier, comprised of three Airbus A320neo aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2026 together with three short-term Airbus A320ceo lease extensions.

The sale-and-leaseback deal enhances our portfolio of new technology aircraft and provides Volaris with the financial flexibility needed to support its ambitious growth plans across Mexico and the United States.

“This agreement demonstrates our ability to deliver tailored financing solutions. We worked closely with the Volaris team to extend our existing A320ceos whilst packaging with new A320neo sale-and-leasebacks to ensure we support their fleet growth and cement our long-term relationship," said Lynn Guiney, Chief Commercial Officer, Macquarie AirFinance. “As part of the successful Indigo Partners portfolio, Volaris continues to be a clear leader in the ULCC space, and we’re proud to support their fleet modernization.”

The A320neo family remains one of the most in-demand aircraft types globally, offering superior fuel efficiency and operational flexibility for growing carriers.
