Nauru Airlines Appoints Wendy Bowden as Chief Executive Officer

Nauru Airlines has appointed Wendy Bowden as Chief Executive Officer, effective May 2026, as the carrier looks to advance its next phase of growth and strengthen connectivity across the Pacific.

Bowden brings more than 30 years of experience in the aviation, travel and tourism sectors. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Nauru Airlines for 12 years before spending seven years at Alliance Airlines, where she held senior leadership roles.

As CEO, Bowden will focus on expanding the airline’s route network, enhancing regional connectivity and developing strategic partnerships to extend Nauru Airlines’ global reach. She also aims to strengthen collaboration between the airline’s Brisbane and Nauru teams while investing in employee development and organizational growth.

The appointment underscores Nauru Airlines’ strategy of expanding its regional presence while supporting economic development and improving air links for the communities it serves.
