Nok Air Eases Domestic Connectivity through Interline Service with Scoot

BANGKOK, Thailand (August 6, 2014)—Nok Air is proudly offering passengers more connectivity convenience by launching an interline service with Scoot, opening up Thailand’s most extensive domestic coverage plan to passengers from Scoot’s international network. The interline service will start on the 1st of September, 2014 to coincide with Scoot’s move from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Don Mueang International Airport.

The interline service will enable passengers to book a single ticket on Scoot and connect to any destination within Nok Air’s domestic network. The convenience of the interline service means passengers will be able to book a single ticket from Singapore to Mae Sot, or from Sydney to Chiang Rai.

“This new interline service with Scoot will enable international passengers the full advantage of Thailand’s most extensive coverage plan, and open up all corners of Thailand to visitors beyond just Bangkok. They can visit the cultural and historic Northern Thailand or our breath taking beaches in the South,” said Patee Sarasin, CEO of Nok Air.

With Nok Air and Scoot both located at Don Mueang International Airport, international passengers will be able to seamlessly travel onwards to different destinations within Thailand without having to book a separate ticket or transferring between airports.
