Paul Terstegge new CEO Transavia
Effective 1 February 2026, Paul Terstegge (50) will assume the role of CEO of Transavia. He succeeds Marcel de Nooijer, who will be leaving the company. Paul Terstegge is currently Executive Vice President Inflight Services at KLM. With his broad background in commerce, operations, and strategy in aviation, he brings leadership and decisiveness to continue and further strengthen Transavia’s strategic direction.
With this appointment, Transavia takes the next step in targeted growth, expansion of its European network, and the transition towards a quieter and cleaner future. The focus also remains on continuously improving the passenger experience, ensuring a strong and predictable operation, and sharpening the business model for the years ahead.

Background
Paul Terstegge has broad experience in the aviation sector, ranging from general management roles abroad to leading a large operational division at KLM. He also held strategic positions in Paris and various commercial roles within the Air France–KLM Group.
