SGI Aviation has secured lease extensions for two Boeing 777-300ER aircraft operated by Philippine Airlines on behalf of an undisclosed US-based client.
The aircraft, serial numbers 29146 and 29147, will remain on lease with the Philippine flag carrier until November 2031 and February 2032, respectively.
The Amsterdam-based aviation asset manager described the agreements as the highest-value lease extension transaction completed for any client in its history. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The extensions will support Philippine Airlines’ long-haul operations, where the Boeing 777-300ER serves as a key aircraft type for high-capacity international routes, particularly services to North America.
SGI Aviation has been involved in transactions covering 14 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft over the past five years, providing experience in managing and remarketing the widebody type.
The company provides aircraft and engine asset management, technical advisory and remarketing services to airlines, lessors, investors and financial institutions, including lease management, maintenance oversight and aircraft transitions.
