Shohin Airlines Orders Four Airbus A320neo Family Aircraft

Shohin Airlines has disclosed an order for four Airbus A320neo family aircraft, marking the Tajik carrier’s first aircraft order with Airbus.

The agreement, which includes two A320neos and two A321neos, was previously recorded as an undisclosed order in Airbus’ June order book. The aircraft will form the foundation of the airline’s fleet as it prepares to launch operations from Dushanbe and expand services across regional and international markets.

The A320neos will be configured with 176 seats, while the larger A321neos will accommodate 196 passengers in a two-class layout. The aircraft are expected to support Shohin Airlines’ plans to establish a modern, fuel-efficient fleet while enhancing Tajikistan’s international air connectivity.

Registered in June 2025, Shohin Airlines aims to develop a broad route network and build a new national aviation brand. Airbus said the A320neo family delivers at least a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and carbon emissions compared with previous-generation single-aisle aircraft while offering greater range and operating efficiency.
