SkyWorks Advises on Widebody Orders, Aircraft Transactions and Fleet Planning

SkyWorks Holdings has announced a series of advisory mandates and completed transactions during the second quarter of 2026, spanning aircraft acquisitions, fleet planning, financing and restructuring assignments.

Among the quarter’s highlights, the firm advised a North American network carrier on the acquisition of two Airbus A350-900s and four Boeing 737-800s, and served as advisor to SAS Scandinavian Airlines on its firm order for 18 Airbus A330-900s as part of a broader plan to acquire up to 40 Airbus widebody aircraft. SkyWorks also completed a long-haul fleet assessment for a European airline and provided a cost diagnostic for a Caribbean carrier.

The company arranged the sale of three 2018-built Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Jeju Air to Air Peace, with the first aircraft already delivered and the remaining two scheduled for delivery in July and August. During the quarter, SkyWorks also secured new mandates from a North American network carrier evaluating a potential widebody aircraft order and a Middle Eastern low-cost carrier reviewing its fleet strategy and cost structure.

SkyWorks continues to support clients on several ongoing engagements, including serving as co-financial advisor to the ad hoc committee of secured noteholders and debtor-in-possession lenders in Spirit Airlines’ Chapter 11 restructuring, as well as advising a North American network airline on the potential acquisition of leased aircraft.
