On 26 March 2017 SmartLynx Airlines Estonia OU, SmartLynx Airlines Ltd. Estonian subsidiary, commenced flights for EL AL Israel Airlines under ACMI wet lease agreement. According to it SmartLynx leases to Israel’s national airline an aircraft Airbus A320, bearing Manufacturer’s Serial Number MSN 984 and Estonian Registration Mark ES-SAQ (previously YL-LCR).

The lease term is determined from 26 March till 30 November 2017.

Aircraft will operate from base in Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv (Israel).

Aircraft seating configuration – 180 Y economy, MTOW 77t.
