SMBC Aero Engine Lease B.V. (“SAEL”) is pleased to announce the successful delivery of one PW1127G-JM Engine to Group Engine Management GmbH (“GEM”), in July 2025 to support the Lufthansa Group airlines fleet.
The PW1127G-JM engine is part of Pratt & Whitney’s Geared Turbofan (GTF) engine family and is specifically designed for the Airbus A320neo family. Renowned for its fuel efficiency, reduced noise emissions, and lower carbon output, the PW1127G-JM represents a significant step forward in sustainable aviation technology.
