Virgin America Reports November 2016 Operational Results

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Virgin America Inc. (NASDAQ: VA) today reported its preliminary operational results for November 2016. The airline’s traffic (measured in revenue passenger miles) increased 16.4 percent on capacity (measured in available seat miles) that was 13.7 percent higher from the same month in 2015.

Load factor was 82.1 percent, an increase of 1.9 points from November 2015. The number of onboard passengers increased 13.7 percent from the same month last year.
