Zgornji Brnik, 06 May 2011

Today at Adria Airways Technical Services an A320 aircraft, which the Slovenian airline has leased for 42 months, was painted in Adria’s colours.

The A320 is entered in the Slovenian register of aircraft and carries registration number S5-AAS. Adria Airways first used the aircraft on 22 April 2011 on a return flight from Ljubljana to London and back.

The aircraft was built in 1993 and has been operated for 47,000 hours to date. The aircraft is owned by a well-known company which leased the aircraft and will ensure that the lessee maintains the aircraft in accordance with all of the aircraft manufacturer’s recommendations throughout the lease period, regardless of how long it lasts.
“This is the 13th aircraft in Adria’s fleet. The aircraft will be used on all routes, but in view of its configuration it will mainly be used for charter flights,” said Adria CEO Klemen Boštjan?i?.
