ABL AVIATION APPOINTS AMERICAS EXECUTIVE

1 July 2015 | NEW YORK – ABL Aviation today announced that John Shavinsky has been appointed Managing Director North and South America. In his new role Mr. Shavinsky’s responsibilities will include business development, sourcing finance and managing client relationships. He will be based at company’s headquarters in New York.
Mr. Shavinsky has 30 years of experience in aviation including strategic planning, project management, maintenance and contracts. He has held senior positions at CIT Aerospace, where he was in charge of aircraft acquisitions, project management and technical services. Prior to joining CIT Aerospace, he held various roles at International Lease Finance Corporation and Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Intrepid Aviation since 2011.
