Dublin London: The Board of Aer Lingus Group plc (“Aer Lingus” or “Company”) announces that in addition to his normal responsibilities as a Director of the Company, the Board has asked Francis Hackett to take on additional responsibility in chairing a legal committee of the Board to support management in relation to the Company’s application to the High Court for a capital reduction, the issues faced by the pension schemes of which Aer Lingus Limited is a participating employer and related matters. Mr Hackett’s terms of appointment have been amended in order to reflect his assumption of these additional responsibilities.
