Aer Lingus, today 4 February, confirms that it has reached a successful conclusion to its industrial dispute with IMPACT Cabin Crew Union on the full implementation of the Greenfield plan including changes in rosters to deliver 850 annual flying hours.
Within the talks, the airline provided clarification on a number of issues relating to work-life balance. In addition Aer Lingus and IMPACT reached agreement on industrial peace for the duration of the Greenfield Business Recovery program beyond December 2012.
Aer Lingus would like to sincerely thank the Directorate and officers at the Labour Relations Commission (LRC) for their hard work over recent days in helping to bring this issue to a successful conclusion for all concerned.
Aer Lingus apologises sincerely to its customers for the disruption this dispute has caused over the last number of weeks. We will now be directing all efforts to restore the full Aer Lingus flight schedule. This may take a number of days and we will be in touch directly with our passengers through email and SMS should there any changes to flight times.
