Aerolineas Argentinas incorporated a second Boeing 737.800 2012 model

The delivery of the brand-new aircraft completed a delivery of four aircraft B-737/800 as part of the renewal and modernization of short and medium-range fleet that Aerolineas Argentinas had imposed in the framework of the Business Plan 2010-2014.

The B-737/800, registration LV-CXT, recently assembled at Boeing factory in Seattle, United States, complete a fleet of 22 models B-737/700 (less the delivery of one unit) and 4 of the series 800 conforming a homogeneous fleet of 26 new-generation aircraft.

The CEO of Aerolineas Argentinas, Mariano Recalde, said that since the National State was in charge of the flag carrier, targets are being met , and emphasized about the large investments that are taking place. In this regard, he noted that the agreement with SkyTeam and the new aircraft were part of our objectives, and we never though that we would be able to achieved this in such a short time.

One is optimistic when making plans and targets, but it is known that some of these targets can go so far as not to be fulfilled, we knew that we had to make an enormous effort, like eliminate debts and arrange to be on a par mad open to agreements, as achieved with SkyTeam.

On the aircraft presentation , Recalde explained: It is a brand new aircraft that joins the fleet, zero miles just purchased from the factory, with this we confirm one more step in the recovery of the airline, one more plane that complies with the objective of renewing the fleet.

The new B-737/800 were built according to the specifications given by Aerolineas Argentinas including Boeing Sky Interior to offer greater comfort to their passengers. They have 162 seats cabin configuration in Economy class and 8 in Club Economy, and wears the colors of the new image of the company and the logo that it identifies AerolĂ­neas Argentinas as a member of the SkyTeam Alliance.
